The house preserves its original rustic character, with thick stone walls, wooden ceilings and a fireplace that becomes the heart of the home during colder months. The farmhouse is located in the Umbría de Güéjar Sierra, in a beautiful area known as Las Catifas, a name that in Arabic means "carpet" and refers to the appearance of the terraced fields from a distance. The unique climate of this place and its oak and chestnut forests evoke Celtic landscapes without leaving Andalusia. The Vereda de la Estrella (Star Trail), the Barranco de San Juan (San Juan Ravine), the Dehesa de San Jerónimo (San Jerónimo Pasture), and El Castillejo are just some of the routes found in the vicinity of Los Arbolitos. The Sierra Nevada Natural and National Park Visitor Center is only 2.5 km away and organizes routes, workshops, and experiences within the natural area. In Güéjar Sierra, a charming mountain village just 8 km from the accommodation, you'll find bars, taverns, and restaurants both in the village itself and along the river, where you can enjoy the local cuisine. And 11 km away is the Ski Resort where you can practice snow sports and visit the high peaks of Sierra Nevada.
