Very spacious apartment, nicely designed and in a very beautiful part of the mountains. Very friendly town and neighbours, great restaurant on walking distance, free potable water available and just generally, a very peaceful area. Definitely recommend this if you want to avoid living in chaotic Granada.

I loved the location in guejar sierra, it had an incredible terrace with amazing views and it was a really clean, organized place, very comfortable bed, and overall design of the place was really charming. Carlos was very communicative, friendly and quick to respond with any questions. Overall, the tile house was clean, comfortable and cozy.

First of all, I want to point out that it is easy to get to...

First of all, I want to point out that it is easy to get to from Granada. We left from the Alhambra parking lot on a 40-minute route to our destination, which does not pose any problems. A picturesque town. Every street has its own charm and it is a real joy to walk around day or night and discover the people and the places. Everyone greets everyone whether they know you or not. The town is at the foot of the mountain. From there, for enthusiasts, tourist trails begin. You can go hiking or cycling. There is a beautiful reservoir nearby with a sensational color. We had a very good meal at the restaurant that had a terrace right above the free public parking lot at reasonable prices. We definitely want to come back.

Güéjar-Sierra is essentially a mountainside village.

Güéjar-Sierra is essentially a mountainside village. It's interesting getting there as the road reminds me of driving in the mountains of Colorado with lots of switchbacks and hairpin curves. The villages up there are replete with too many speed bumps and we found that the Spanish roads have oodles of potholes. But, the drive is kinda fun and the scenery is lovely. It was really nice to be in a place that was not dominated by the sounds of ambulances and other noise as well as light pollution. And I can actually see the stars here. I always enjoy walking around the little villages. There are lots of things to see including many fountains and other water features. I believe that on one day it was -3c, but with the lack of any wind, the village was cold but not frigid. 😊

Beautiful small village with amazing views across the mountains. Plenty of walks and cycling choices, with close connection by car to both Sierra Nevada mountains and Granada city. Good choice of places to eat and drink, plus small grocery shops.

If you are looking for a somewhat rustic village, this is for you. Quiet and quaint!The beautiful mountain location is great for hiking and relaxation. The local road to get up to the ski area is an uphill slog of narrow, curves, sometimes a one lane road, hairpin turns. In wet weather it is not a good choice. The apartment is clean, some of the furniture looks old, but it is not described as a luxury stay, so this was expected.

We didn't think that 11 Kilometers would take us more than...

We didn't think that 11 Kilometers would take us more than 30 minutes and as we started driving at dark to the place it kept taking us on this hilly and windy road that was scary driving and we thought we were going no were as nothing was showing to be a place for us to stay that night, once we arrived we saw the place and they gave us a warm welcome. In the morning they served us breakfast as if we were at home, made us fresh coffee and brought us breakfast to our table and even made us more fresh coffee, the owners were extremely friendly and we would stayed their more days if we had more time, on the way down we saw spectacular views of the mountain and lake at the edge of the mountain. I highly recommend the experience.

This place is/ should't be recommendet for people who have problem with walking. (Though there is a lift in the hotel). Some streets are very narrow or sometimes there are steps to manage to continue a walk in the village. When the weather is good, the viuws are dimply beautiful.

- It's an excellent and very nice and cosy flat in the beautiful town of Guejar Sierra - Communication was fine with the owners about several things - The flat was really nice and an amazing view over the snowy mountains - Rooms and facilities were great for the family with 2 kids - Parking is under the building, but it would have been good to get the instructions that we could park and then take things by elevator. - The flat had some books and board games, which was really nice.

A great place to stay. Staff are excellent and as a solo traveler I was very well looked after. Breakfast was a bonus and very tasty. Guejar Sierra is my favorite place to visit when skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Loved the fire in the bar and the hot shower plus secure parking.
