We welcome you to experience a journey into the past where you can reconnect with nature and see a return to old-fashioned ways of farming in a small hamlet in the Valley of the river Acebo, Western Asturias. These breath-taking surroundings provide a relaxing retreat where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the secluded countryside.

Alvaro Santa Cruz is the organizer of this project, ensuring its sustainability both in the farming and commercial processes. We invite you to come and take part in the many and varied activities planned throughout the year. You have the option of joining in at any time with the different tasks required depending on the season.

El Molin de la Vega is located in Vega de Linares, a small hamlet with only three other neighbouring residents, in the valley of the Acebo river that flows into the beach of Vega, on the west of the county of Ribadesella. At less than 8 kms from the town of ribadesella, you can enjoy the quiet of being in a small village but only 3 kms from the A8 motorway, and 5 minutes from the beach of the Vega or the municipal golf course. Ribadesella offers excellent local cuisine, where you can also visit and contemplate the painting of the Tito Bustillo cave and the museum, take a tour to find out the local history, take walks along the sea front and see the majestic houses, called “indianos” , enjoy the incredible views from the Chapel of the Virgen of Guia or from the viewpoint El Fito. If you are a sports lover, there are numerous routes both through the mountains and following the coastal roads that start from this area, we also boast we have the best beaches for surfing in the north of Spain, a municipal 18 hole golf course and many tourist agencies offering adventures including routes, by horse or quads, and of course the Descent of the Sella.
