Finca Casa Nanita is a 20,000 m² country estate in the rural heart of the Gran Canaria, 2 km from Fontanales (Villa de Moya), a peaceful setting surrounded by gardens and nature. The estate is home to three independent, private houses, each booked separately; each one is your own home, while all share the communal areas. Shared facilities include a saltwater pool with a shallow splash area, massage jets and a jacuzzi; a sun terrace around the pool with pool towels provided and views over the landscape; gardens with quiet corners to enjoy nature and birdsong; a barbecue and picnic area; a table tennis table and an electric-vehicle charging point. Suitable for remote working, with a travel cot available. The three options: Finca Casa Nanita A (up to 4 guests): bedroom with a double bed plus a mezzanine with two single beds, ideal for children or extra guests. Bathroom with shower, bright lounge with smart TV and music system, kitchen with an old wood-fired oven and an outdoor dining area on the terrace. Central heating. Finca Casa Nanita B (up to 5 guests): main bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds and a balcony with panoramic views. Finca Casa Nanita C (up to 3 guests): its most special feature is the bedroom with a double bed set inside a cave, a truly unique atmosphere. Moya has some cultural and natural sights which are well worth visiting. The archaeological sites Cueva de Doramas or those of the Montañeta are the most outstanding. Besides, a walk through Moya cannot overlook such emblematic buildings as the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, the Museum-house of Tomás Morales, the Heredad de Aguas or the Shrine of San Bartolomé de Fontanales. Sixty five per cent of the municipality is classed as a Protected Natural Area. In the Parque Rural de Doramas is the Special Natural Reserve of Los Tiles, one of the last redoubts of laurisilva on the island and whose name originates from the abundance of the Til. It is a compulsory visit for the many botanists who come to Gran Canaria to witness the spectacular nature and variety of the flora and fauna and the large number of endemic species which are of great scientific interest. But what Moya is really famous for its confectionery. As well as the industries producing homemade glazed bizcochos and suspiros (meringues) for which Moya is well known. Every Sunday the market opens to offer the very best of the local products.
