We are Elmar and Gijs. After nearly eight successful years running a Bed & Breakfast with a home-style restaurant in Friesland, we decided it was time to pursue our long-held dream: living abroad. Initially, we set our sights on Austria, but after years of traveling to sunny destinations like Gran Canaria and Crete, we realized we thrive in a warm climate. Our love for Gran Canaria, with its stunning nature, relaxed atmosphere, and pleasant climate, broadened our horizons. We searched for a place where we could combine this feeling with the rugged beauty of the mountains and the opportunity for winter sports. Andalusia turned out to be the perfect destination, and in October 2022, we embarked on our journey of discovery. Now, in 2024, our dream has become a reality. We are opening the doors of FINCA FLAMENCO, a place where vacation truly means vacation. This fall of 2024, we will open our Casita, pool area, and shared patio. By the end of 2024 or early 2025, we plan to be fully operational.

Our accommodations are designed with comfort and privacy in mind. Stay in our standalone 40m² casita, complete with a private balcony, terrace, and entrance. Inside, you'll find a cozy living kitchen, a romantic bedroom, and a luxurious bathroom. In the main building, the Finca itself, we offer three spacious suites ranging from 26 to 34m². The largest suite features its own kitchen, living/sleeping area, and en-suite bathroom. All suites have en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, and seating areas. The decor is Bohemian with Moorish influences. Each suite has its own entrance from the central hallway, located on the upper floor of the Finca, accessible via an external staircase or through the reception area. All rooms are equipped with a TV and a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the valley and mountains, with Malaga visible in the distance. A footbridge leads you to our spacious swimming pool, surrounded by sunbeds and parasols, where you can soak up the warm Spanish sun. The shared patio invites you to relax with a glass of wine or enjoy breakfast. For cooking enthusiasts, there is an outdoor kitchen available to prepare a delicious meal.
