La Escribana is a paradise in the middle of an unspoiled yet beautiful part of Andalusia. It is perfectly situated to enjoy peace and quiet, explore the villages and make day trips to cities such as Sevilla or Cordoba. What probably makes it a unique place is the large green garden with its lawn and (fruit) trees. Most other country houses in the South have more stone surfaces.
We are a Dutch-Spanish couple that has lived in Spain for a long time. We look forward to welcoming our guests and give them a stay they won't forget.
The house is situated in a protected natural park, yet at the same time it is only 500m from the village, so you can easily walk there. The village is charming and lively. It offers shops and restaurants to cater for most needs. The area is sometimes compared to Tuscany, but tourism is still up and coming and you will be able to enjoy a genuine version of Spain that has little to do with the Costas.
