Los Oliva is a restored traditional Canarian house. It has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two lounges. One lounge with glass ceiling lets in sunlight which adds warmth. The other lounge has a wooden floor, coffered ceiling, and chimney which connects with the patio. Next to this lounge, you'll find a dining room with a wonderfull glass table. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay, the main lounge and kitchen connect with an patio. The patio has a staircase to access to the roof terrace with great sea views. There's also a laundry.
My name is Oliver and together with my wife Ruth we welcome our guests in our family home with open arms and always ready to enjoy their stay on our wonderful island of Gran Canaria.
On a visit to Gáldar will surprise the variety of things to see and do. In a few days you can enjoy from the coast to the mountains with different options, you will know from ancient history of canaries to current banana plantations or aloe vera, you will share with inhabitants typical gastronomy and music, meet its cave houses and traditional crafts. Los Oliva House is located in the historic city center, and just next to the temple of Santiago de los Caballeros and Museum and Painted Cave, declared cultural assets, a circumstance which has a higher interest rate environment. Here you can visit museums and shop in a traditional local market, or taste local food in many restaurants located in the surroundings. You also have natural pools and beaches really near to the house.
