This cozy apartment is located on the stairs that go down to the beach from San Miguel Street, being halfway to the beach and the bar and restaurant areas in the upper part of the city.

El Bajondillo is an emblem of Torremolinos, one of its fundamental areas. In this old neighborhood you can still breathe the authenticity and the traditional, the essence of this seafaring city. El Bajondillo has narrow streets that connect the lower part of the city with the promenade and one of the best beaches in the city. A walk through El Bajondillo is a great way to get to know the history of the town in depth, with surprising corners and paths that always end in the sea. It is one of the busiest beaches in Torremolinos, located between those of Carihuela and Playamar, which can be accessed on foot from the center, through several streets and the stairs of what is known as Paseo de la Playa, which remain closed due to the evening. Halfway along the route is the Cemetery viewpoint, with magnificent views. There are two elevators to get to the beach: a municipal one that goes from Plaza del Panorama (Calle de las Mercedes) to Plaza de los Tajillos, open all year round, and the one at the Meliá hotel, which normally opens only in summer and closes at noon, both for a price of 50 cents each way. It can also be accessed from the famous Cuesta del Tajo, full of craft and souvenir shops, where you will find your souvenir of Torremolinos and which is accessed from San Miguel street, right at the crossroads you will be able to see the Torre de los Molinos or Torre Pimentel and from there observe the remains of some of the mills that are still preserved. El Bajondillo has a beautiful promenade to enjoy the sea breeze at any time of the year. And, of course, there are beach bars to enjoy fried fish and other characteristic dishes of local cuisine. You cannot visit Bajondillo without delighting in one of its architectural jewels: La Casa de los Navajas, a neo-Mudejar style mansion from the first third of the 20th century that gives it a unique singularity in the province of Malaga.
