We are a family of 4, Gary, Melanie and our son and daughter Aimee and Lewis, and we like to socialise with our guests. We enjoy health and fitness activities, we are non smokers, and we love our pets, we have 4 family cats! They are very friendly and love to cuddle with our guests!! Our Live-in staff are onsite to help with any guest enquiries or issues, they are volunteers and donate their time to help us keep the Olive Branch clean every day. We welcome you to come and stay and have an OB experience!

Property info

Our property is a rustic, rural old spanish Finca built in 1904! We have restored the Guesthouse as a Hostal/Albergue style Bed and Breakfast. The finca is large, with wild gardens and nice views of the valley and the mountains. The Main Guesthouse has a communal Guest Kitchen and dining room leading out to a covered terrace and steps down to an outdoor terrace. The Main Guesthouse has 5 individual guest bedrooms set away from the communal part of the house, each room has its own entrance and private bathroom inside the bedroom. We also have a seperate unit of a 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin, and lastly another unit of a double bedroom and 2 adjoined single bedrooms. Both of these units have private kitchen, dining room and bathroom. Our swimming pool has fantastic views! We live in on the hillside above El Chorro valley, in the Parque Natural of Andalucia. The roads are country roads, steep and winding, and our entrance is inclined!! But its ok for cars and small vans to drive down. Smoking Policy- We allow smoking in the outside areas, All of our rooms are Non smoking rooms. We welcome everyone from all over the World and from all walks of llife, We love looking after guests! Neighborhood info

El Chorro is a great area for outdoor activities. The most famous thing to do here is Climbing, the Via Ferrata, and to walk the Caminito Del Rey Gorge walk. We can also arrange horse trekking and Kayaking at Ardales Lakes. We can arrange a guide for climbing, Via Ferrata and hiking. The scenery is stunning and the climbing is some of the best routes in Southern Spain! Our closest town is Alora, its a quaint whitewash town with everything that you need. Bars/Restaurants, shops, childrens pars, public swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and a Gym. Within 1 hour you have the beaches of the Costa Del Sol, and waterparks at Mijas and Torremolinos, or the Bio Park zoological park in Fuengirola. Enroute there is a stunning river walk with waterfalls, called Borranco Blanco. Towards Antequera, which is a beautiful town full of architecture, you have El Torcal an incredible rock formation site, and Lobo Park a wolf sanctuary. Towards Ronda, which is a stunning town built on top of a cañon, there is another town called Setenil de la Bodegas which is a stunning village built into the cave walls. You can base yourself at the Olive Branch and easily visit the local area.
