La Posada del Agua es un hotel rural y familiar, creado por Teresa en el año 2007 y gestionado por un equipo de 8 mujeres de El Tiemblo, el pueblo más cercano. Nuestra actividad tiene como objetivo regenerar nuestro entorno, dinamizando la economía local, creando puestos de trabajo que permitan conciliar con las familias y minimizando nuestro impacto medioambiental en un entorno natural protegido.

Posada del Agua is a beach and mountain hotel, located in the south of the Avila province, on the banks of the of El Burguillo lake, just in front of the Natural Reserve of Valley de Iruelas, We are part of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism and we are Information Point of the Reserve. We are an environmentally conscious and we contribute to the sustainable local development. The food is homemade and seasonal with some of the local products of the highest quality of the region, such as the IGP Carne de Ávila, goat cheeses Elvira García, Redondo eggs, ecological honey or O.D. wines. Cebreros wines, all served directly by the producers. We offer you magnificent views of nature from a modern hotel and in a relaxed atmosphere. In summer you can go down to our beach, eat on the terrace and practice swimming, canoeing and sailing. In winter the plan is to walk in the countryside, go horse riding and enjoy the fireplace.

El Burguillo lake is made by the Alberche river, which gathers the water from the north side of Gredos. In the lake you can practice canoeing, sailing and paddle surfing. On its banks is the Natural Reserve of Valle de Iruelas, where there are routes of different duration and difficulties, from the Accessible Route, for people with reduced mobility, until the crossing to Pozo de la Nieve, of three hours of duration, where you can see Black vultures and griffon vultures. You can also travel on horseback, on routes of one or two hours. In the House of the Reserve Park you can see the Interpretation Center of the fauna and flora, as well as the history of the resinero village. The other natural space of great value that we have near is the Castañar of El Tiemblo, one of the most southern Europe Auburn forest. If you like wine and gastronomy, this is the epicenter of the D.O. Wines of Cebreros, currently in process, and tastings and visits to vineyards can be made, as well as visits to the goat cheese shop Elvira García, in El Barraco. Not forgetting that we are 35 minutes from Ávila, so you should visit this medieval city.
