It is a block with independent apartments, nice and spacious. None has a TV but they all have wifi, a wood stove or fireplace and are made in the traditional Alpujarreño style, with wooden beams on high ceilings. Each apartment has between one and three bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and exterior views of the mountains and towns in the valley. Ground floor apartment: 1 room with a double bed, 1 room with 2 single beds, living/dining room with kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower, stove with wood oven. Apartment with 2 windows. Fully equipped for 4 people. First floor apartment: 1 room with a double bed (kingsize), 1 room with 2 single beds, 1 room with 1 single bed, living/dining room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower, stove with wood oven. Apartment with 2 balconies and 3 windows. Fully equipped for 5 people. Second floor apartment: 1 bedroom with double bed and balcony, bathroom with shower, living/dining room with kitchenette, fireplace and a big terrace.
We are Chia (English) and Martín (Spanish), we came to Mecina looking for a beautiful and quiet place to raise our daughter. We have worked in international hotel chains and we love the world of tourism and hospitality, our desire is that our guests enjoy our environment as much as we do.
We are located in the heart of Mecina Fondales, one of the most authentic and beautiful villages in the upper Alpujarra of Granada. With its traditonal white buildings, charming church set in a beautiful square. With the very cute village park available for our younger guests. The village is abundant in almond, olive, fig and blackberry trees. Peaceful and quiet, but with many services. There is a hotel with a swimming pool that can be used in summer at a very affordable price, a vegetarian restaurant, a piano bar that usually offers live music and the traditional village bar, ideal for breakfast and is also a tobacconist and convenience store. Everyday of the week there is also are vans that comes selling everything you need, local fruit and vegatables, bread and cakes, frozen goods and fresh fish from the coast.
