The villa is nestled in the hills above Mijas Costa, in the peaceful Rancho de la Luz area. Its elevated position is what gives the villa its spectacular sea, coastline and mountain views, as well as its sense of privacy and calm. Mijas Pueblo, with its charming streets, shops and restaurants, is around a 10 minute drive away. (or 20 mins uphill walk). Beaches, supermarkets, beach clubs and the Mijas Costa area are also approximately 10 mins by car. Málaga Airport is around a 20 mins drive. The villa is best suited to guests with a hire car, as the road up the mountain is steep and winding in places - a small trade-off for the views and tranquillity that come with the location. Taxis are readily available and reasonably priced, and walking to local shops is possible for those who enjoy a scenic uphill stroll. This is an ideal base for guests who want peaceful surroundings, space and views, while still being close to beaches, towns and day trips along the Costa del Sol.
