Villa Laguneta, newly refurbished in 2022, comprises five self contained properties which can be rented individually or as a whole. There are three one bedroom apartments each sleeping two people, a casita arranged over two floors that will sleep up to three people, and a casa arranged over three floors, with two bedrooms for four people in total. Each property comes with its own bathroom, kitchen area and terrace. There is also a shared pool and laundry facilities on site. Free public parking is available just a short walk away.

Gaucín is known for its views of Gibraltar, the Strait of Gibraltar and Morocco, as well as the surrounding mountain scenery. It can be used as a base for visits to the pueblo blancos of Andalusia. The village is presided over by a medieval castle a few metres from the apartment. Gaucín offers visitors a window facing the Mediterranean sea and has provided inspiration for a number of artists and writers. It has been referred to as the balcony of the Ronda Mountains. Gaucín offers visitors to the region a panoramic view to the Mediterranean . The town is a working town, with a mainly Spanish population interspersed with other European ex-pats. It is a magnet for artists and writers and hosts art fairs and writers events throughout the year. Fiestas and other events punctuate the year and there is always a friendly welcome from the locals in the colourful, flower-filled squares. As a base, it is easy to drive to the string of pueblo blancos, Ronda, the coast, Estepona and Marbella along some of the most beautiful roads in Europe. In Spring the area is full of flowers and has great weather- with sunshine on 320 days of the year.
