We have recently restored this second floor duplex apartment to a high standard with all mod cons, situated in the heart of the historic town of Foix. Less than a 100 meters from the Chateau de Foix. You are within minutes of walking distance to everything you will need to enjoy your stay, from restaurants, cafes, bars, Boutique shops and a very well stocked Carrefour Market. The apartment boasts a fully fitted kitchen, 2 double bedrooms including all bedding, towels and bathrobes. A spacious bathroom and a large comfortable living dinning area with a flat screen TV plus free fibre Wifi throughout the property. Fantastic views of the Chateau and the square & historic quarter of Foix, and beyond. The perfect location to explore Foix and the beautiful department of the Ariege and beyond. If you feel like a bit of duty free shopping Andorra is about an hour away. Thermal spas, walking and skiing is approximately 30 minutes away in Ax Les Thermes. The apartment is on the second floor up two flights of stairs so no disabled access or the infirm. The entrance door to the apartment is on Place Pyrene, this entrance is only shared with one other studio apartment. Also there is no parking on the street Rue des Chapeliers next to the Place Pyrene, but it is possible to stop temporarily to load and unload baggage on arrival/departure. There is lots of paid parking close by: from 12 - 2pm, 6pm - 9am and weekends it is FREE, there is also some free parking around Foix, which can be found online. If you choose to use the paid parking we recommend using the Pay by Phone App, all the details of the app are displayed on the Parking meter machines.
