Au Coeur de la Cour is a charming cottage / gite on the property of an old wine farm. Translated: In the heart of the courtyard. On the right side of your cottage the old 'pressoir' is situated. It's an old grange with still the pressmachine of the grapes. . On the left hand side it gives you a view of the charming old farm, where we live ourselves. Right in front of you you'll see a big 4 centuries old tree right in the middel of the 'cour'. Where you can sit and relax in the shade while drinking a Touraine wine looking over the valley of the Cher. The double-door in your vintage kitchen gives acces to a charming quiet terasse. You can park at the couryard next to your cottage and we will give you a beeper to enter and leave the courtyard whenever you want.
We are a French couple just buy this fantastic place. We moved from Paris since may and we are very happy of this lovely property. The old farm and buildings are perfect for our working and relax time for read and share good times with friends and our customers. We loved to cook and share a glass of win. Also, we can organise for you with a participation to pay ,a wine tasting from our région and also some good cheese too. Up to you !!! Welcome in "Au coeur de la cour" Fred and Pascal
Au Coeur de la Cour is located in the Tourain region, famous for his great white Sauvignon wines. We are situated in the middle vineyards. The Touraine/Loire region is also famous due to all fabulous castles (chateaux). The closest one is Chenonceau at only 3.8 km!!! Within 30 minutes drive you can view alll the other big castles, Chambord, Chaumont, Cheverny....An region with a lot of culture, lovely wines and cheese , beautiful surroundings. Ideal for bicycle tours: Le Loire a Velo et Le Cher a Velo are famous and these routes pass are house and your gite and the rivers Cher and Loire. We provide you with maps and if necessary bikes. Also perfect to enjoy canoe trips (very nearby), swimming (lakes and riverbanks), going to attraction parks, treeclimbing (Clic'Lac!), Zoo Beauval, greates Zoo of Europe, Minichateau, Safaritrain, Golf, winetasting, small pittoresk villages and the impressing big village Tours (30 min), nice restaurants.Really everything you can wish for, only 2,5 hours underneath Paris (South-West).
