Este apartamento es único porque directamente dio al mar, estando en primera línea sobre la playa. Además, esta casa fue la donde vivía MATISSE cuando le vino a Collioure alrededor de 1904. Hizo venir a DERAIN que pintó allí el cuadro(tablero) célebre " El faro de Collioure ".
Vuelta a tratar(Jubilada) por el Ministerio de la Justicia, me retiré en Collioure, de donde mi familia es originaria ya que llegó en 1686 con el fin de dirigir trabajos del puerto de Port-Vendres. Mi vida es ritmada por ocupaciones(actividades) diversas entre las que están la acuarela, el modelado, la encuadernación, etc...
El barrio(cuarto) está muy vivo porque se encuentran allí grande(bueno) número de tiendas, de restaurantes, de cafés.
