The OVO Network team’s opinion - Chalet Jornata can accommodate up to 10 people (max eight adults) right in the centre of Morillon village. Just 90m from the ski lifts and 1km from the lake, you'll have access to superb mountain activities all year round. And at the end of a busy day, you can relax in the hot tub in the garden or get together for a game of petanque on the dedicated court. The property has four bedrooms, spread over three floors. There is one double room with an en-suite shower room, another with a desk and TV, and a third double room with an extra single bed and washbasin. Finally, there is a children’s room with three single beds under the eaves. The bedrooms on the top floor share a large shower room and separate toilet. The first floor has a separate toilet. The ground floor has a shower room with toilet. On the first floor is the bright kitchen and living room, which is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, TV, dining table and wood-burning stove, creating a cosy atmosphere. This area opens onto a south-facing terrace with a small table and barbecue. The ground floor has a cosy reading room, equipped with board games and a fridge, providing an ideal space to relax after the day's activities. The chalet is surrounded by a large, secure garden, with plenty of room for children to play. There is also a second terrace, with a table seating eight, perfect for al fresco dining. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Security deposit: The owner requires a 1,000 euros damage and excess cleaning guarantee. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your payment details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Chalet Jornata is in the heart of the village of Morillon, and just a few minutes from the ski resort of Samoëns, both of which boast several popular restaurants. The ski lifts in both villages will give you access to the superb Grand Massif ski area, comprising 265km of pistes for all levels and including the resorts of Flaines, Les Carroz and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. You'll enjoy panoramic views and excellent snow cover. In summer, the surrounding mountains are covered with walking and cycling trails, and the Giffre river is a popular destination for water sports. The Lac Bleu leisure centre, just outside Morillon, is a great day out for families. It provides swimming, horse-riding, a treetop adventure course, Segways and much more. Younger children will love the pump track, play areas, inflatables and trampolines. And if you're staying nearby, the trout fishing trip is free! The village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, less than 20 minutes' drive away, is well worth a visit, as it is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Nestled in a natural amphitheatre of high limestone cliffs, it is also the starting point for white-water rafting and a via ferrata route.
