Chalet Serein is in a pretty alpine village close to Morzine ,wonderfully located to access the huge ski area of the Portes du Soleil and lake Geneva .It has a sunny south facing position , with stunning views over the village and mountains beyond . It has been architecturally designed to ensure a great aspect from all rooms with lots of natural light . Upstairs the stunning living space is open plan with high vaulted ceilings and an open log fire giving a wonderful cosy Alpine feel . There are 5 good sized bedrooms ( 3 x double, 2 x twin ) , 3 bathrooms (one ensuite) and a sauna In addition the chalet has two balconies and a wonderful terrace with hot tub .There is a ski locker room . There is also a new table tennis table in the garage . The private driveway is large enabling easy parking for our guests. We recommend guests have cars.
We are from the South East of England (Buckinghamshire and Surrey) and have always loved the mountains from an early childhood . We both worked in London for many years and made the decision to buy Chalet Serein in 2015 . We were living at the chalet and still love being there but have decided to open it up and allow other peole to enjoy it !
Chalet Serein is in the very pretty Alpine village of Seytroux fantastically positioned to access the different lift stations of the Portes du Soleil ski area including Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Chatel, Champery, Morgins and Les Crozets . There is also a very pretty local ski station . We are 12/15 minutes by car from Morzine , 10 minutes to the nearest ski station , 25 minutes to Lake Geneva and only 75 minutes from Geneva Airport . The village has a very good restaurant and there are shops restaurants and bars close by in St Jean D'Aulps or Morzine . The largest supermarket of the area is say 8 minutes enroute to the ski stations
