Le Domaine de La Royante is a charming Bed and Breakast in a private country manor ideally located between Cassis, Aix and Marseille. The 18th century “bastide” and its gothic chapel lie in a vast garden with a swimming pool and an olive grove. The park itself rests in a peaceful valley surrounded by ageless pine trees. The choice is yours : listening to the soothing pitter-patter of the fountain and the song of the cicadas; relaxing by the pool; admiring the wind over the olive grove; succumbing to the fragrances of lavender and rosemary; meditating in the coolness of the chapel; indulging a provençal breakfast under the shade of a fig tree; escaping to the Calanques (Fjords) of Cassis; burrowing through antique shops in Aix; hiking in the hills on the footsteps of Marcel Pagnol… You’re out of time, but so deeply in Provence. La Royante features a choice of three charming guest rooms, as well as a kitchen and guest room at the guests' disposal.

Aubagne en Provence is ideally located between Cassis, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. Cassis and the calanques are 10km away, Aix: 25km, Marseille Old Port : 15km (15 minutes by the tunnel). You will without doubt be tempted to spend all your time at la Royante, relaxing near the swimming pool or in the park, under the olive trees. Or listening to one of Bach's Cantatas in the Chapel.
