This is the château as she truly is — raw, ongoing, alive with history still being uncovered. And within that, real luxury: bathrooms, bedding, furniture, and flooring chosen with care, set against walls that have not yet finished telling their story. It is a stay with limitations, and it is precisely those limitations that make it unforgettable. Guests can enjoy the gardens, walking paths, and terraces, plus a swimming pool (unheated, warmer seasons) and a tennis court with rackets and balls provided for tennis and pickleball. We share the château with a resident dog, cats, and chickens — please be respectful of them; outside pets aren't permitted. Laundry facilities are available during set hours; please leave the laundry and shared sitting room tidy after use. The ground-floor sitting room has board games and jigsaw puzzles for relaxed evenings. Quiet hours run 11:00 PM–8:00 AM. A light, seasonal continental breakfast is included. There's no air conditioning — fans are available in warmer months, and electric blankets/radiators in cooler ones.
