Relax on the covered terrace balconies that surround the chalet and enjoy the peaceful life of the village. Take in uninterrupted views of the ski slopes in winter and marvel at the sight of para gliders during summer. The terrace leads into a large garden with plenty of room for children to explore and play. There is a large basement/family room where you can enjoy watching TV and relaxing with family. There is also and a heated skiing room and laundry. Enjoy the spectacular views from the modern kitchen, dining, lounge and main bedroom.
An adventurer who loves the outdoors and spending time with the family. Have been living overseas from my home country (Australia) for more than 20 years. Love the lifestyle in France, peaceful and relaxing. Like to do a range of activities: skiing, hiking, bike riding, tennis and socialising with friends. His wife, Amanda, speaks and writes French very well. They have 2 children (Max & Georgia) who love skiing as well.
Recommend Extreme Glisses in Samoens for ski hire & para sailing. Verchaix and Morillon bakery are both outstanding. Many great restaurants and cafes nearby in Verchaix and Samoens. Supermarket nearby in Samoens. Local markets: Verchaix on Friday morning & Samoens on Wednesday morning. Ski bus 50 m away- will take you directly to the ski lifts. Great hiking trails in the area (April to November) Verchaix is a very quiet and peaceful village. Great neighbours.
