After holding a guest house for 10 years in Normandy in the Bay of Mont Saint Michel, Pascale wanted to resume this activity in the Gers to find the pleasure of meetings she had known in Normandy. And this pleasure is shared by the hosts who appreciate its warm welcome. Magali is passionate about travel, traveling, meeting and sharing. It is therefore natural that Pascale and Magali meet to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We can not wait to receive you !

It is with great pleasure that we, Pascale and Magali, welcome you to La Cordillière. In the calm of the Gers countryside, with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees, you will understand why it is good to live in Gascon country. So, you can enjoy hiking trails full of ubiquitous nature (including the path of Compostela which passes near the Cordillière), many cultural visits to the villages all more authentic than the other, infinite riches of the gastronomy Gers, all the fun activities or sports Marciac among others, and of course activities of our establishment (many books and comics, outdoor games, etc ...) And we hope that like everyone who has been there, you will not want to leave! Welcome to Gascony ! Welcome to La Cordillière !

Neighborhood info

Obviously Marciac, 6km from the Cordillière, is known first and foremost for its jazz festival. But Marciac and its region offer much more than that. Marciac itself is an old bastide with typical architecture of the region, with its place, the largest in the department, and its perpendicular streets. Marciac also has a theater, the Astrada, which offers throughout the year theatrical performances, concerts, one man show etc ... in addition to a movie theater. We must also talk about the play pool and the lake with the water activities that go with it. But the region is much richer still. Go to Bassoues to see its bastide, its hall of the fifteenth century, and its impressive tower of 197 steps. Go to Lupiac, birthplace of D'Artagnan, and visit the museum of the famous musketeer. Go to Barran, and admire the architecture of its church with its bell tower. Go to Tillac, 2 steps from the Cordillière, and imagine yourself in a cloak and sword film. Not to mention the many festivals and events that show the dynamism of this country so rural and yet so active and modern. The feeling of unfinished will make you come back !
