Relax in the calm of Le Bel Angle Bed and Breakfast in a 18th-century house next to the Lee Ufan Museum in the historic, pedestrianised center of Arles. Easy, safe and stress-free, this B & B with a 5-star Google rating is a women-owned and managed business officially registered as a tourist accommodation on a quiet pedestrian-only street in the heart of Arles. You have the city at your doorstep - no need for public transport, taxis or a car. Each room is named after a female artist and equipped with two single beds arranged side-by-side so they are ideal for solo travellers and backpackers as well as friend groups, couples, digital nomads, artists and business travellers. Each room has free Wifi, Linvosges French linens, locally produced soap by Marius Fabre, no-feather bedding, USB plugs, a makeup mirror, a hairdryer, double glazing, a modern ensuite bathroom, a heated towel rack and individually-controlled heating. Rooms cleaned daily (linens changed upon request). Rooms are either equipped with air conditioning or are naturally cool (thanks to thick stone walls!) and include a fan and portable air conditioner in summer. The living / dining area on the 1st floor (with a view of the town hall's bell tower) is air conditioned. A continental French breakfast is included (vegan and gluten-free options). Guests are welcome to use the living / dining area to work or relax. You can leave your bags if you arrive earlier than 16:00 or leave later than 11:00. Leonor Suite : A large room with a view of the town hall’s bell tower. Not suitable for people with mobility issues (see photo of staircase). Also, you must step into the bathtub to shower. Sonia Room : Located on the ground floor and looks out onto a quiet pedestrian alleyway. Equipped with a fan and a portable air conditioner. Naturally cool due to thick 18th-century limestone walls, terracotta tile floor and a shaded location.
You will stay in a renovated, authentic arlésienne house with a local and sustainable ethos that is a women-owned and managed business officially registered as a business and a tourist accommodation. Please note : We are NOT a hotel, hostel or AirBnB. We are a bed and breakfast. As required by French law for all Bed and Breakfasts, the owners lives in the house year-round. So she is usually close by and easy to reach if you need anything. The owner and manager is happy to help with a map, transportation information, honest restaurant recommendations (not the touristy ones!) and reviews of the lastest art exhibits if you ask. But don’t worry, you have your own private space and the owner will stay out of your way and let you enjoy your stay on your own terms. She is bilingual in French and English and can manage the basics in German and Spanish, having lived and worked in seven countries.
Enter the calm of this renovated 18th-century maison bourgeoise next to the Lee Ufan Museum on a quiet pedestrian-only street in the heart of the historic center of Arles, a UNESCO world heritage site in Provence. Easy, safe and stress-free - you literally have the city at your doorstep - no need for public transport, taxis or a car. Le Bel Angle Bed and Breakfast is ideally located for attending events, such as the Photography and Design Festivals, but also to explore all the sites as well as Avignon, Nîmes, Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence (10-15 minute walk to train and bus stations). Arles itself is a relaxed, human-sized city — easy to get your bearing with a strong local rhythm rather than a tourist crush. The house is located in an area of Arles with hardly any mosquitoes. Please note : There is absolutely NO car access to Le Bel Angle even for bag drop-off.
