Behind its elegant silhouette topped with a slate roof, our Mansard-style house, typical of Touraine architecture, welcomes you all year round for a stopover between heritage and nature. Ideally located in Saint-Georges-sur-Cher, we are the privileged starting point to discover the treasures of the Loire Valley: the famous Château de Chenonceau is only 7 km away, while the Beauval Zoo (18 km) and the wonders of Amboise are nearby. Here, every detail is designed for your comfort. After a day of sightseeing or cycling, enjoy our extensive garden, terrace, or relaxation areas. A relaxation room with games and billiards as well as a tea room kitchen can be offered to our guests upon prior request. Every morning, we offer you a homemade continental breakfast, included in your stay and made from local and seasonal products. A savory option or adaptations for specific diets can be provided with prior reservation. Our 3 rooms offer a soothing atmosphere and can accommodate up to 9 people. For cycling enthusiasts, our establishment is listed as a Greenway and is an ideal stop on the castle route with a secure bike garage and free enclosed parking. Finally, when conditions allow, the sky comes alive above the vineyards: the passage of hot air balloons then offers a peaceful and unique spectacle, perfect for a timeless interlude in the heart of the Cher Valley.

Welcoming is a passion and a way of life I cherish sharing with each of my visitors. L’Orée des Vignes is the result of a dream nurtured by my Grandma Marie’s generosity, where you were always greeted with a cup of tea and the scent of fresh cake from the oven. True to this legacy and enriched by a career supporting people with disabilities, I hold essential values: listening, kindness, and patience. In 2022, I brought this project to life by turning this elegant Mansart house into a warm haven. A native of this beautiful region, I love sharing my passion for the Loire Valley, its local flavors, and unique heritage.
