Pion La Grange is a lovely rural barn and gite conversion a short walk from the village of Castelnau d'Auzan in the Gers. The property provides 3 large double bedrooms with master ensuite shower room. There is a second separate family shower room and a well supplied kitchen. The large open plan barn area allows for sociable dining, sitting and relaxing area, enjoying films, table tennis or a game of pool. A further separate sitting room provides a more tranquil and restful sitting area. Outside there is a lovely sitting area with views across the countryside. Free Wifi and private on site parking is included.

The Gers is a land of fortified towns, vineyards and rolling landscapes. The town of Eauze (15 mins drive away) is the Capital of Armagnac and hosts a wonderful Thursday morning market. Numerous fetes and evening markets are available to sample Gascony gastronomic and wine delights. For more activities Guinlet Golf Course is 10 mins away, you can hire bikes for guided or self guided wine tours and for equestrian minded guests riding is available near by at Pony Club de Petit Pere Equestrian Center. Our local village has several tennis courts and a very popular swimming pool. It has several bars/restaurants and a food shop, a visit to the boulangerie La maison des gourmandises is a must for your morning croissants and patisserie orders. The water park at Gondrin is also an active outing (20 mins away). The area is full of historic villages - you may know that D'Artagnan was born near by at Lupiac and the Roman villas de Seviac is located near the village of Montreal-du-Gers (10 mins away). The area is also crossed by a section of the Normandy Canal, A UNESCO World Heritage Site and way of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
