Nestled in a peaceful yet central location in the beautiful seaside town of Sidmouth, 1 Abiff Place is a charming cottage that provides the perfect base for couples or small families looking to explore the stunning East Devon coastline, Jurassic Coast, and surrounding countryside. Combining character, comfort and convenience, this cosy retreat places you within easy reach of Sidmouth's beach, independent shops, cafés, restaurants and scenic walking routes, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing coastal holiday. Layout Accessed through the courtyard with a bench and table, a delightful space for morning coffee, guests enter the property via French doors into the well-equipped kitchen, providing everything needed for preparing meals during your stay. The dining area is also perfect for board games, of which there is a great supply of, for memorable evenings together. Stairs lead from the kitchen to the first floor, where you'll find a comfortable lounge with cosy seating, a small TV and a selection of books to enjoy after a day of exploring. Also on this floor is the shower room with WC. A door from the lounge provides direct access to the pathway running alongside the historic churchyard, adding to the property's unique character and convenient location to explore Blackmore Gardens, tennis & bowls courts plus further amenities Sidmouth has to offer. A further staircase leads to the second floor, where the bedrooms are situated. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe space. The second bedroom offers a single bed, chest of drawers and a hook on the back of the door for additional storage. Parking: Please note that this property does not have dedicated parking. Guests may unload their luggage in nearby Lakes Court before moving their vehicle. The East Devon District Council long-stay car park on Manor Road is approximately a 10-minute walk away. 3-7 day permits are available.
