Sowerbys Holiday Cottages started up in 2002 and has grown gradually with a portfolio of 300 hand-picked cottages we would all like to stay in. Appreciating the need to be nearby in the event of any issues that need resolving, we have deliberately limited the range of our cottages to a relatively small localised area of outstanding natural beauty, within 20 minutes drive of Burnham Market. We pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional service to both our owners and our guests. Our owners can relax in the knowledge that we are looking after all aspects of their holiday homes; and our guests can relax knowing that we all live locally and have a genuine desire to help in the event of an emergency, or simply to offer local advice on what to do, where to eat etc.

1 Crarves is a superb renovated cottage, with two bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms, carefully furnished and immaculately presented by its new owners for use as their Norfolk bolt-hole. Downstairs the cottage has been opened up to create a sociable open plan layout with a light and airy feel, including a lovely newly fitted kitchen and comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove. For those wishing to escape, a converted cellar with a sofa and TV provides a perfect extra place! Upstairs the double and twin bedrooms are both beautifully presented, making it ideal for a couple or a family. Outside there's the advantage of two private off-street parking spaces and a fully enclosed courtyard garden. It is conveniently situated in Docking village, within walking distance of an excellent shop/post office, local pub serving food, fish & chip shop, children's playground, tennis court and a fishing lake. The beautiful sandy beaches at Brancaster and wildlife reserves of the North Norfolk coast are within a 10 minute drive away.

Docking All roads in North Norfolk seem to lead to Docking. It's a busy village with an excellent small supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, blacksmith, village pub, a large village playing field, tennis court and bowling green. Docking also has its own coarse fishing lake that is available on a day ticket basis. The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk Coast and its long, fine sandy beaches. Brancaster and The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club are about five miles away. There are two golf courses in Hunstanton, which is less than eight miles away. The Titchwell Bird Reserve, home to terns and waders is close by. The ultra fashionable Georgian village of Burnham Market, Sandringham and the market towns of Fakenham and King's Lynn are also nearby.
