1 Merchants Gate is a 2 bedroom apartment located just outside York's historic bar walls. The apartment boasts modern décor but with a homely feel. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, Bathroom with bath and shower, Living/dining room and 2 bedrooms. It is located within a 5 minute walk of the city centre, which offers a wonderful selection of places to eat, drink and with all the historic attractions York has to offer. There is also a choice of supermarkets within 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
I'm quite new to hosting but enthusiastic and will do my best to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable and at home.
One Merchants Gate is located within a 5 minute walk of the beautiful Historic City of York, offering many famous tourist attractions including York Minster, The Museum gardens, The Yorkshire Museum, Treasurers House, York Art Gallery, Clifford's Tower, Jorvic Viking Centre, Jorvic Dig, National Railway Museum, York's Chocolate Story and The Bar Convent to name but a few. It is also within a short car, bus or train journey of many other wonderful places to visit, for example, North York Moors and Whitby, Yorkshire Dales, Haworth and Bronte Country, Castle Howard, Yorkshire Abboretum and Harrogate.
