Kirkstall is a lovely area of Leeds with many cafes, bars, restaurants and takeaways. The historic site of Kirkstall Abbey is just minutes away and is well worth a visit, as are the walking trails by the river. Headingly Stadium is close by and regularly hosts both national and international cricket events. Leeds United's stadium, Elland Road is accessible via various bus routes and a park and ride system. Leeds City centre is easily accessed via regular bus services or the train from the nearby station of Headingly.
