Sixpence Cottage is set on Carnglaze Place, a historic cobbled lane in the heart of St Ives’ charming Downalong area. This pedestrian-only street is full of character, lined with traditional fishermen’s cottages, yet is just a few minutes’ walk from the lively harbour and town centre. Fore Street’s independent shops, cafés, galleries, and restaurants are all within easy walking distance, as are St Ives’ stunning beaches. Porthmeor Beach, popular with surfers, is just a short stroll away, with Porthgwidden, Harbour Beach, and dog-friendly Bamaluz Beach also nearby. The South West Coast Path is close for walkers and nature lovers. Island and Barnoon car parks are nearby for convenient access if arriving by car.
