North East Scotland Preservation Trust (NESPT) is a building preservation trust that exists to bring derelict, disused and redundant buildings back to life in the Aberdeenshire area and beyond. The organisation holds charitable status and operates as a company limited by guarantee. NESPT was bequeathed a range of historic, listed buildings around Portsoy’s Old Harbour, thanks to the generosity of the late Tom Burnett-Stuart. This includes two holiday cottages in Portsoy and one cottage in nearby Whitehills.
