Located to the north of the city close to Monks Cross and Vanguard retail parks and York Stadium. Your top-floor bedroom offers stunning views on both sides, an en-suite bathroom, and a comfy double bed with all bedding and towels provided. The room is lockable for your security and comes with a coffee and tea station. There are toiletries in the room. There are dark shutters on the windows to allow that perfect sleep. A late check-in and early check-out can be accomodated. We're family-friendly and provide a travel cot for your little ones as well as a single bed for an older child. Whether you're on business, a family or a solo traveler, our serene York location with ample free parking is perfect for your getaway.

We are Darren and Elena! We started hosting in Aug 2023 and to date we shared our fully renovated 1930s home with over 150 guests (June 2024). We love welcoming guests into our home and are here so you can make the most of your York stay. We hope to see you soon!

Our location is incredibly convenient for guests. We're just a stone's throw away from the A64, making your commute to Leeds or the coast a breeze. Plus, a short drive will take you to Malton, known as Yorkshire's food capital. If you're in the mood for some exploration, we're only an 18-minute drive from Castle Howard, ranked among the top ten stately homes in the UK. And if you're dreaming of a day by the seaside, both Scarborough and Whitby are about a 50-minute drive away. Hungry? You're in luck! There is a Toby Carvery across the road, a village pub 3 mins drive away and park and ride parking with bus service into York city centre 2 mins away. The journey to York city centre from the park and ride takes 9 mins and costs around 2 pounds per adult one way. There is a Coastliner bus that is 10 minutes walk away that can take you to Scarborough, Whitby, Malton, Leeds and Pickering and costs 3 pounds per adult one way. We are located close to Heworth, Huntington & Stockton on the Forest village.
