It’s an easy place to spend hours on the sand, paddling in the shallows or swimming in the sea. St Ives is also well placed for wider adventures, with easy access via the A30 to explore the Cornish coast. If you fancy a day trip further afield, ferries to the Isles of Scilly can be booked from Penzance.
