Anna is the manager /owner of Cowdale Cottage and 2 other beautiful properties at the lodge Northfield. She is a mother to 3 daughters and has 5 grand children. Anna loves cooking, gardening, art and anything creative , including wire sculpture. She also enjoys cycling - especially on the Yorkshire Wolds. She is professionally trained in catering and hospitality and has a 5 star rating hygiene certificate, Anna is passionate about guests enjoying their stay.

The neighbourhood The cottage is located in the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds with pretty walks from the doorstep including the Wolds Way footpath, The Chalkland Way and The Minster Way., the seaside is a 35 minute drivaway. If you prefer a two-wheel adventure, bring your bikes along and admire the stunning scenery and challenging rides (hills) . There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants in the area, with the closest being The Wolds Inn, Huggate which serves a range of traditional meals and local ales, plus it's within walking distance. The Gaite at Millington, The Wellington at Inn Lund, The Goodmanham Arms at Goodmanham are also great choices and just a short drive away, while the Michelin-starred restaurant Pipe & Glass is a 20-minute drive. Booking is essential. York is 35 minutes away and perfect for a day trip or a spot of retail therapy. Discover this stunning Roman and Viking city with its beautiful architecture and historic landmarks, grab a bite to eat at one of the many eateries or head to the National Railway Museum for a journey through time.
