Thornbury is a small historic market town able to boast a tudor castle, the 16th centuy project of Edward Stafford; part of the castle is a smart hotel. Thornbury is situated with easy access to M4, M5, M32 and M48 motorways to Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Cheltenham. The local town a mile away provides a choice of eating and drinking facilities. The cottage is extremely well insulated, triple glazing and underfloor heating throughout. A ground source heat pump supports this eco friendly cottage.
My profession was conducted in the European high tech aerospace industry as an engineer and managing an european team. I like the peace rural living has provided and being busy. I try to provide what I would have wished for on my business travels. There is never enough time to do all that I want; however it is important to listen, learn and improve. Will provide help if possible; however you do have your own private access
Quiet country rural lane with no pedestrian footpath. Local bus stop within 400m with access to Thornbury and Bristol City Centre; however suggest a private vehicle is beneficial.
