The location is amazing. Everything was perfect regarding the hospitality. Kaman, the hotel manager was very very decent and elegant and helped and served us by himself. The other staff was very nice at the reception as well. Very clean and it was the most wonderful stay in UK. Highly recommended.

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and this was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The extra amenities in the room, the space and the service was incredible. We requested a few things to our room and it was brought swiftly on a sliver platter. We had a few extra requests and they were accommodated if possible by the hotel. I would recommend, it was very clean and comfortable! 5*

A bustling and lively university town. Very pretty sightseeing locations and absolutely wonderful boutique shops. Amazing places and variety of food to savour. Very walkable (if you don't mind some hilly walks) town.

Would think very carefully before booking here again, would s need to be a last resort. The bedroom was nice but the bed was like sleeping on a floor as a matter of fact was probably worse than sleeping on a floor.

Lovely town with some great pubs and restaurants and lovely old buildings including the famous Chepstow castle. A couple of the pubs and public spaces were a bit dodgy but you can spot them easily enough. We are going back again soon. The IL FIORE Italian restaurant in Nelson St. is excellent. The Boat Inn and the Three Tuns are also great pubs. Avoid the Beaufort Hotel- fine for a drink but not a great stay.

Keynsham is a lovely town to stay being almost in the middle...

Keynsham is a lovely town to stay being almost in the middle between Bath & Bristol. It has excellent transport links by train & buses to many places. Walks along the river in the Memorial Keynsham park early evenings is lovely too. We saw a Kingfisher, a young Yellow wagtail with it's mother feeding it, water voles by a pond that had cute ducklings. There are plenty of shops, places to eat or just to have coffee & watch the world go by. There's also a great hotel (The Old Manor House Hotel) to stay in.

Vert clean, underfloor heating on bathroom. Plenty of towels but no tea bags. Very quite when we stay but it was February. Menu looked good and fair prices, although we ate elsewhere as we didn't know the area, if we stayed longer or again, we would eat in the restaurant. All in all, a very nice place to stay and would definitely book again. Good value for money

This pub/hotel is billed as being in Old Sodbury, however, if you're doing the Cotswold's Way expect another mile off the route to get to this place! We did enjoy our brief stay though. Great staff. Friendly.

Cheddar is a lovely town with lots of nice gift shops and places to eat. A lot of places are dog friendly which is good for us. Cheddar Reservoir was nice to walk around, very scenic. Have visited a few times and will definitely visit again.

Smart marina with several nice restaurants and a micro brewery, cafes and plenty of supermarkets. Handy bus services but due to construction of a new railway there are diversions which need better publicity. Open air swimming pool looks good but is regularly booked up. Nice open areas near the Riverside. On street parking can be difficult to find
