Airds Farm offers some of the best Bed & Breakfast accommodation in scenic Dumfries & Galloway. Enjoying a picturesque location above Crossmichael, three miles from Castle Douglas in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland, Airds Farm offers quality bed and breakfast holiday accommodation. The farmhouse, a traditional stone-built Galloway farmhouse has been sympathetically developed into a 4 star guesthouse.
I never tire of watching the wildlife on our farm and watching the red kites soaring the skies above our farm and watching the different species of birds in the garden. I love the summer when the flowers are in bloom in the garden. I think we are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place - we can look at the dark clear skies at night and see the stars.
A number of activities are offered in the area such as horse riding, water sports, cycling, fishing, golf, walking. Birdwatching and plenty of activities. There are many places to visit from public gardens, country estates and historic castles, ice-cream and chocolate making and the famous Red Kite centre – you will find something of interest within a short drive of Airds Farmhouse whatever the weather! Or you can relax at the farmhouse and admire the views and of course the Red Kites which we have soaring in the skies above.
