Allt Mor in Inverroy near fort William, is set in the West Coast of the Scottish Highlands. Allt Mor has 2 beautifully designed Self-Catering rentals: The Studio Apartment with Balcony and The Cosy Neuk Chalet with Hot Tub. Both are modern and beautifully presented, contemporary in designed and substantially equipped. They both offer open plan living accommodation. The Studio Apartment is on a first level position, which maximizes the spectacular mountain views of the Grey Corries and Nevis Mountain Range with sensational sunsets. The Cosy Neuk also has a mountain facing terrace. Both rentals are completely separate from the owner’s home and have their own private access and parking. Allt Mor rentals have their own private garden with seating and a running stream wraps around the property which enhances the sounds of nature.
There is nothing more spectacular and soothing than sitting on the balcony or in the hot tub with a glass of wine or beer and bathing yourself in the glorious light of the sunset or sipping your morning tea as you watch the soft pink hues of the sunrise gently illuminating the peaks and ridges of the Grey Corries. Relax, read a book, or simply listen to the birds chattering or the gentle sounds of the meandering stream.
You will receive a warm Scottish welcome when you arrive and I am almost always here to greet you. I can recommend local features and places of interest or offer itinerary suggestion and route planning.
Local knowledge is a great resource to tap into, whatever your interest: climbing, hiking, walking, cycling, touring...please feel free to ask. I'm always available.
Inverroy is a peaceful rural village with few houses and an abundance of nature nestled between Roybridge and Spean Bridge. It is a short drive to Fort William, the boarding point of the Harry Potter Jacobite Steam Train - Hogwarts Express and the start of the Ben Nevis Hike. Also enjoyable is the pleasant drive to the city of Inverness stopping off at the glorious Urquhart Castle.
Inverroy is positioned midway between Perth on the east and the Isle of Skye in the West, both under a two hour drive.
The Nevis Ski Resort on Aonach Mor in the Nevis Range, is home to the Mountain Bike World Cup and Go Ape Treetop Challenge, both of which are close by . The Glen Nevis resort and the majestic Ben Nevis, highest mountain in the UK, are just down the road. Also nearby is Glen Roy, National Nature Reserve, noted for its dramatic effects of the glazier ice shifts and the Parallel lines of the ice shifts are clearly visible and definitely worth a visit. Fort William and the greater Lochaber Area is the official ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’. The village of Roybridge is 1 mile up the road. Roybridge train station serves the Caledonian sleeper which has a direct daily connection with London.
