A very warm welcome to Amber Lodge, situated on the edge of the Peak District with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Our property comfortably sleeps five and is modern and bright with exposed beams throughout. Amber Lodge is entirely self-contained with a private entrance and spacious accommodation. The living room has impressive floor to ceiling windows (filling the space with natural light), ample comfortable seating and a cosy wood burner. The modern open-plan kitchen diner is fully equipped with a double fridge and dishwasher. There is also a handy utility room with a toilet, washing machine and dryer. The property has two generous bedrooms both with large ensuite bathrooms and walk-in showers. Bedroom one has a king-size bed and bedroom two has a double bed and single bed. Outside there is a large, grassed garden area (not enclosed), patio with outdoor furniture and parking for two cars. The Lodge is surrounded by quiet countryside making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. Hares and foxes can be seen right from the window, while buzzards, geese, curlews and pheasants are also regular visitors. We love how peaceful and calm it feels once you are here and look forward to welcoming you.

Along with extensive biking and walking trails nearby our family also enjoys visiting the following: Matlock Farm Park (3.5 miles) A super farm with a variety of animals to meet and feed, plus a large indoor soft play and outdoor jumping pillow. This is a great day out, especially with kids. Chatsworth House (8.5 miles) Great for gentle walks around the grounds, taking the kids to the farm and play park, a tour of their impressive gardens or a tour of the house itself. Crich Tramway Village (8 miles) is another great family day out that is only a short drive away.
