Ancrum House was a complete renovation and has been open for bookings since March 2017. It has a very large kitchen dining room with bifold doors to the patio and large secure garden where there is a trampoline, hot tub, BBQ and rattan furniture. Off the kitchen is a snug area where there is some entertainment for the children including books, toys, toy kitchen and cables for games condoles. Next to the snug is a large wet room with 2 sinks (1 lower for the kids to reach). The kitchen dining room, snug, main bathroom, living room, hall and porch have underfloor heating. The downstairs bedroom with king size bed has an en-suite with underfloor heating and shower. Upstairs there are a further 3 bedrooms.....one has a king size bed with an en-suite, there is another room with a king bed and another bedroom has 2 single beds. A family bathroom is upstairs including a shower, bath, underfloor heating and TV. Wifi is at the property with SMART televisions and Netflix in every bedroom, snug and living room. The living room has a wood burner and there is a supply of logs. Gretna Green railway station is only a 2 minutes walk.

This is a new project for my husband and I who have twins together aged 11 and my husband has 2 older children. I am a staff nurse, my husband is a Farmer and we have rental properties in the local area. In 2015 this house was for sale which required a full renovation. It has been hard work renovating the property as we have been very hands on with the work. I love interior design and have loved choosing all the interiors for Ancrum House. I manage and clean the property myself and live only a mile away.

Gretna Green railway station is ajacent to the property and a couple of minutes walk but please be assured that trains cannot be heard. Smiths hotel, black-smiths,greens and the Gretna Gateway outlet village are all close by.
