Charming, rural, idyllic location in peaceful North Yorkshire. The one bedroom, en suite, Studio Annex was renovated in 2018 with a cottage kitchen equipped with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and outside barbecue and patio furniture. Lounge with flat screen TV. Westow is within close proximity to town, coast and country with areas of outstanding natural beauty and amenities to suit a range of interests. Known as the food capital there are a range of options for eating out, including our the award winning village pub.
Simon and Mandy live within the courtyard of Fisher's Yard and the Studio Annex and look forward to welcoming visitors to the beautiful rural location, where they have lived for the last 20 years. Being on site means we very much like to offer suggestions and help with itineraries if and as required, however we are not intrusive and for guests wishing to enjoy the peace and tranquility the area has to offer, this is very much respected. Hope you enjoy looking and are attracted by what you see!
There are many local attractions including the market town of Malton, Castle Howard, Yorkshire Lavender at Terrington, Eden Camp, Modern History Theme Museum, Dalby Forest, Helmsley Castle, Nunnington Hall, North York Moors Steam Railway at Pickering. Travelling into the city visiting the many tourist attraction in York including York Minister, Cliffords Tower, Museum Gardens, Railway Museum, Betty's Cafe and Tea Rooms. Travelling east the coast is within 23 miles. The list is endless and the beautiful area caters for all interests and hobbies within a rural and unspoilt village
