Just a mile away is the beautiful beach at Seatown, predominately shingle with a shelving bank, it is great for those looking for a quiet spot to relax. Perched above the beach you can find the multi award-winning The Anchor Inn renowned for excellent seafood dishes with much of the produce caught locally. The location provides the perfect setting for eating out in the sunshine with Golden Cap to the west providing a magnificent backdrop. The National Trust's Langdon Woods and Langdon Hill can be seen right from the cottage windows and make for a lovely walk, from here you can climb the famous Golden Cap – the highest point on the south coast with breathtaking panoramic views for miles. Walkers are truly spoilt for choice in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can pick up the coastal path, with footpaths covering miles of the beautiful coastline offering stunning views en route. The well stocked Felicity’s Farm Shop is a short drive and provides a variety of high quality, fresh and seasonal local produce. Just a ten minute drive is Bridport, a thriving, quirky and cultural market town with a super reputation for its arts, culture, events and food. The town is a hive of activity with a mix of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. West Bay lies just a mile on from Bridport and is an attractive and bustling harbour village. From here you can explore the dramatic Jurassic coastline by boat, or try and catch your supper on a mackerel fishing trip!
