Presented by Cosy Barn Holidays, Apple Tree Barn is nestled in the charming hamlet of Sweethay just a couple of miles from Taunton. A fabulous newly converted 18 century barn that sleeps 7. The property provides the perfect location for a luxury escape to the country. Spacious light and airy accommodation of exceptional quality with contemporary comforts while providing a traditional barn experience. It hosts a contemporary log burner for those cosy nights in and an enclosed garden and private hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. An ideal destination for a family holiday at any time of year. For the sports fans Somerset County Cricket ground is 2 miles away and the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club 25 minutes drive in Exeter.
I enjoy supporting my children in their sporting activities regardless of the weather. I also enjoy meeting new people.
Apple Tree Barn offers great access to the West Country and its famous landmarks. Nearby, The Blackdown and Quantock Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty are hidden gems unspoilt by mass tourism. They offer beautiful landscapes of steep valleys, forests and farmland, laced with rivers and streams and are excellent cycling, walking and riding routes. For those of you who enjoy just to see the scenery a trip on the West Somerset Steam Railway is a must. Situated perfectly for exploring Exmoor, Somersets West coast and the South Devon beaches, North Cornwall is an hour away. We are within a short driving distance to Exeter and Bristol.
