Archie is a cosy shepherd’s hut with underfloor heating, double bed, an en suite with shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. There is a kitchenette area with single hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, dining and kitchenware. Two comfy chairs and a fold up table for dining. Archie has Wi-Fi and DAB radio. It’s set within its own garden area looking out across the shared garden space. It is set in its own with no other huts and offers a peaceful and relaxing space surrounded by nature and plenty of wildlife. There is a dedicated parking space for Archie from which it is approximately a one minute walk to reach it along a surfaced path. There are three steps up to the front door of the shepherd’s hut. It is approximately a 15 minute to Ullswater and similar distance to Keswick.
Nigel and his family have lived at Laurel Bank for over 20 years and enjoy living in this Lakeland area.
Motherby is a small village on the fringe of the Lake District national park. There is a pub in the neighbouring village about a 15 minute walk along path and pavement. There is a farm shop 5 minute drive offering a full range of food and sundry provisions and daytime dining.
