Sunset Lodge is a beautiful & secluded lodge on the edge of Bantham village with spectacular views to the Ocean & Burgh Island. The Lodge is self catering with a kitchen, oven, fridge & dining area. The kingsize bed is very comfortable, with a shower & toilet next door. There are two chairs and a TV & DVD player. The double doors lead out onto the extended deck that overlooks the view of the sea and Burgh Island and is great for sunsets. You have a table and chairs for alfresco drinks & dining. The area is private & set on the edge of a wooded garden, by a country lane but note that in the summer months the lane can get busy. From the deck there is a gate leading to a lovely downhill 15 minute to the village & the beach. There is an abundance of possibilities for good walks. The village has a small coffee shop with groceries and newspapers and The Sloop Inn is a good place to eat out. Bantham beach has a surf school where you can hire surfboards, wetsuits, paddle boards and canoes. The Gastro Bus is in the carpark serving drinks and food.
We are a local family who love this area, for sailing, surfing and great walks.
The local area is an area of outstanding beauty.
