Inverness is the gateway to the stunning west coast and even a day trip across the sea to Skye is possible. The area is packed with opportunities for outdoor pursuits especially as the Cairngorm National Park is easily accessible, where skiing, snowboarding, climbing and so much more are readily available. For the Golf enthusiast this area offers an abundance of championship courses within a short drive and of course mountain bikers will be impressed with the selection of tracks that pass through fabulous scenery. The nearby Moray Firth is home to a diverse range of wildlife and marine life including dolphins, which can be seen from the shore or on trips from the harbour.
