Avondale Guest House, an Award Winning Guest House/B&B based in Keswick, the heart of The Lake District UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are ideally situated in the heart of Keswick, whether you are walkers, runners or cyclists, or just looking for a base to explore the area. Approximately 2 minutes walk to the centre of town, within minutes you can be amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. You are welcome to use our guest lounge with a wide selection of books and maps. All our rooms are en-suite and tastefully decorated, with fresh milk delivered to your door each day, as well as fresh water. Our in-room facilities also include a selection of teas & coffee, TV, hairdryer, fans and maps for your use during your stay. Amy & Chris look forward to welcoming you to Avondale Guest House.

Neighborhood info

Southey Street is ideally situated enabling you to be in the centre of Keswick in a couple of minutes. Parking is on street and free, so park the car and enjoy all that Keswick has to offer. With a market on Thursdays and Saturdays you can also discover some of the local produce of the area. You can also take advantage of the excellent local transport and explore some of the beautiful surrounding villages.
