We’re incredibly lucky to call Cornwall home… although for Eric, that was never in doubt, having grown up just up the road in Camborne. Being part of the local community isn’t a marketing line for us – it’s how we live. Falmouth is powered by its people, and that sense of togetherness is one of the reasons we love it so much. From everyday life in the town to the buzz of festival weekends, you feel the strength of the community everywhere you go. When the Sea Shanty Festival fills the streets with music, it’s impossible not to be reminded of Falmouth’s deep roots in the sea and the stories that connect generations. We know that holiday lets can be a sensitive subject in Cornwall. That’s exactly why we do things differently. We’re not absentee owners, and we’re not faceless managers. We live and work here, we use local trades, support local businesses, and care deeply about the town we’re part of. While we’re relatively new to holiday lets, hospitality isn’t new to us at all. My background is in weddings and events planning, where attention to detail, people skills, and calm problem-solving are non-negotiable.
