The Seahorse Apartment lies on a quiet residential street with magnificent sea views over Torbay. A stylish base from which to explore the English Riviera. Added luxury extras are a wood fired hot tub for the guests' private use and the cosy movie room. The closest beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill, Torquay 20 minutes away (a 5 minute drive). The calm bay is ideal for paddle boarding, wild swimming, kayaking and sailing. The coast path is just down the road and there are ferries to nearby Brixham and Dartmouth. Other attractions include the steam railway, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor and the market town of Totnes. We are keen walkers, cyclists and sea swimmers and always on hand for some tips on the best secret spots!
My husband Patrick and I love sharing beautiful South Devon with our guests, we love the outdoors as well as good food and restaurants of which there are plenty in the area. Torquay even has its own Michelin starred place. We like to give our guests maximum privacy but are also on hand for tips if required, having lived in the area for many years.
The apartment is in a quiet part of Torquay, the seafront is a 10 minute walk, Torquay train station 15 minutes by foot. Totnes is a 20 minute drive and Dartmouth 30 minutes including the ferry. The train journey to Exeter is one of the most beautiful in the country taking you along river estuaries and the sea front. There is plenty of parking on the road in front of our house.
