A quiet retreat away from the hustle & bustle, with still plenty to enjoy, including a communal pool, shops, cafes, bars & restaurants, & Scratby's beautiful beach, all a stone's throw from your doorstep. A short bus ride away takes you to the vibrant town of Great Yarmouth. There you can enjoy many of the fine restaurants, bars & cafes. The town also boasts a collection of fantastic funfairs, including Pleasure Beach, the newly refurbed Marina Leisure Centre, the Hippodrome, & so much more. The space Guests are greeted by a large, cosy living room space, complete with TV, dining table to seat 4 (an additional high chair is available), and a vintage-but-powerful electric fire for the cooler months. Kitchen is just off the main living room, and includes microwave, kettle, toaster, and vintage-but-powerful fridge and cooker. Marrakesh style dinnerware, and standard glassware included. There is also a smoke and CO2 detector, a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and first aid kit. Guests can also find an ironing board, iron, cleaning supplies, lap trays, board games, and beach gear in the large storage cupboard. Scratby beach is a beautiful, sandy, dog friendly beach. Accessed via a slope and some steps. There are public toilets at the beginning of the slope, and some car parking space, although this beach is a stone's throw from the Chalet. The walk there includes passing some gift shops, mini supermarket, bars, cafes, hairdressers, and chip shop. Just up the road from the beach entrance you can find arcades, a take away, a tavern, the oasis swimming pool, pit stop pizza, and California Tavern and Dutches Tavern with evening entertainment. Great Yarmouth is a short, open top bus ride away, running frequently to and from Great Yarmouth, at a very reasonable price, please message for up to date prices and times. Bus ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes Great Yarmouth boasts plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, & a cinema.
